CGP Systems designed and built DesignSense’s web and mobile experience, turning a room or exterior photo into a starting point for AI-generated design concepts.

The project challenge

DesignSense needed to make generative design approachable for people who do not use professional modelling software. The product had to guide users through a small number of clear choices while leaving room to review and refine the result.

Guided product design

We designed the journey from uploading or taking a photo to selecting a room type and style, generating a concept and saving or sharing the result.

Generation workflows

We connected the user’s image and design selections with AI rendering capabilities for interior and exterior concepts.

Iteration and focused edits

We implemented tools for reviewing generated options and supported focused image changes through the Android inpainting workflow.

Cross-platform product delivery

We delivered web and mobile experiences and integrated the subscription and in-app purchase flows used to access paid functionality.

The resulting application lets users explore design ideas from a photograph through a guided workflow. CGP Systems delivered the interface and application functionality connecting input, generation, refinement and saved results.
